Guess we won’t have any snow peas, carrots, or beets. Even though my son thought he was protecting the seedlings with wire, the critters found their way in. The broccoli and cauliflower are doing well; they haven’t been touched.

After battling our tenacious gopher in the front yard for over a month, my son gave up on probing and set traps in five of the runs. He got the varmint in less than two hours. Now he has to fill in the runs which are all over the lawn.

The Ladies’ Auxiliary is putting on a Valentine’s Day Gourmet Dinner on Feb. 14. You’ll recieve five courses with wine and champagne at a cost of $25 per person. Reservations are required. Call Reba at 763-2254 for your reservation. Seating is limited.
