We have two flags left to sell at the Post for $20. Leave a message with Susan, our bartender, if you want to reserve one. Weíre having a New Yearís Eve party on Dec. 31. Watch my next article for more information.
All members of the community are invited to our meals and activities. Days of operation are: Wednesday and Friday 5 to 7 p.m. and Sunday 8:30 a.m. till noon.
And donít forget to save your pull tabs for Ronald McDonald House and cancelled stamps for "Stamps for the Wounded." Theydonít need flag, liberty bell or presorted stamps.
Activities for the first half of December (which is "National Womenís Volleyball" Month) are:
Dec. 7-Debbieís pork roast, mashed potatoes w/gravy, veggies, salad, pie a-la-mode
Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day (Fly your Flag at half staff)
Dec. 8-Pearl Harbor Open House 3 to 7 p.m.
Dec. 9-Annaís incredible eggs benedict on English muffins, seasoned fruit, sweet rolls
Dec. 12-Rebaís pork chop suey, chow mein, salad, decadent dessert
Dec. 13-Post Meeting 7 p.m.
Dec. 14-Barbara Annís meatloaf, potatoes, roasted veggies, salad, carrot cake
Dec. 15-Menís Aux. Meeting 9 a.m.
Cat Herders Day
Dec. 16-Comradeís eggs to order, bacon or sausage, potatoes, toast, fruit, juice
Barbie Backlash Day
Dec. 19-Menís Aux. famous spaghetti w/meatballs, garlic toast, salad, dessert
Dec. 21-Mike & Sueís "Italian Duo", veggie lasagna and chicken Alfredo, veggies, Caesar salad, garlic bread, dessert
All meals include coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Donít forget our $1 dogs every Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m.
