AGUANGA - An autopsy was pending for the partially buried human remains found not far from Highway 79 in Aguanga, a sheriff's sergeant said today.

A hunter Friday spotted the remains sheriff's investigators determined to be human about two miles southeast of the highway in the 45000 block of Highway 79 South, Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Tyson Voss said.

The identity as well as the cause of death was not immediately known as an investigation was underway, Voss said.
